Advanced Sleep Disorders Center was founded in 2004 and offers Oregon and Northern California patients sleep testing facilities in Medford and Brookings Oregon.
In October 2010, Advanced Sleep Disorders Center was purchased by Dr. Kishore Pathial, MD, PC, FCCP, FAASM, who is a Pulmonary and Sleep Disorders Specialist with Board Certifications in Pulmonary, Sleep, Internal medicine, and Critical Care medicine. Dr. Pathial is an active participant in the day to day operation of Advanced Sleep Disorders Centers and is the Medical Director and oversees all testing and treatments.
All sleep testing is supervised by experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT’s). All sleep studies are performed using state- of-the-art diagnostic equipment, supervised, and analyzed by experienced RPSGT’s, and interpreted by a Board certified Sleep Specialist, Dr. Kishore Pathial, MD.
We firmly believe in not only helping our sleep disorder patients with their challenges, their sleep studies, cpap, sleep equipment and with their physicians. We help our patients feel "at home" by providing complete respect to each individual we work with; recognizing each condition as unique; providing facilities that are state-of-the-art, clean and extremely comfortable. Don’t be fooled by Cheap-less accurate unattended home sleep screening companies. We perform full Polysomnography (PSGs), always attended by a specially trained Polysmnography Technologist, at our specialized diagnostic testing facilities, and get much more thorough diagnostic data, needed to more accurately diagnose and determine more effective treatments for you. Full PSGs (eg.using 24+ channels of physiologic data) may cost more compared to Unattended Home Sleep screening (usually only 2 to 6 channels of physiologic data), but can be the difference between getting an accurate diagnosis and treatment for your sleep disorder. Cheap home sleep screening has a higher risk of not getting accurate the diagnosis and correct treatments, and over the long run, may cost much more in future healthcare costs due to more physiologic damage persisting to your body.
